“Parasite” fez história ao tornar-se o primeiro filme internacional com um elenco totalmente estrangeiro a ganhar “Melhor Elenco” nos SAG Awards. Jennifer Aniston levou para casa Melhor Atriz numa Série Drama com The Morning Show e Peter Dinklage o Melhor Ator com Game of Thrones.
Quanto aos discursos, de destacar a apresentação de Leonardo DiCaprio do prémio LifeAchievement dado a Robert DeNiro; o discurso do próprio DeNiro; o discurso de Joaquin Phoenix que teceu elogios a Leonardo DiCaprio; o discurso emotivo de Renée Zellweger e de Jennifer Aniston, e o agradecimento curto mas fervoroso de Peter Dinklage.
