Na cerimónia de ontem, dia 11 de janeiro, foram conhecidos os vencedores dos Critics’ Choice Awards 2018, nesta que foi a 23.ª edição.
The Shape of Water era o filme com mais indicações, 14 no total e acabou por receber quatros prémios, entre eles o de Melhor Filme e Melhor Realizador. Lady Bird não recebeu nenhum prémio.
Alguns vencedores foram os mesmos que vimos nos Globos de Ouro como o de Melhor Ator e Atriz Principal e Secundário (Cinema) e Melhor Filme de Animação, entre outros. Na televisão, The Handmaid’s Tale voltou a ser considerada a Melhor Série Drama e The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel a Melhor Série de Comédia.
